SU Women Sweep Duke at Monticello Invitational
The No. 17 Syracuse women's rowing team swept Duke in all its early session races before losing to host and No. 5 Virginia in its second session races at the Monticello Invitational on Saturday on Lake Monticello.
"This was an opportunity for our team to race against one of the nation's best in Virginia," women's head rowing coach Justin Moore said. "Our women used the opportunity really well and realized what they need to do to reach that level. It is essential that we line up against teams of this caliber because that is where we are going."
