The No. 16 Syracuse men's rowing team's varsity eight finished third in its lone home race of the season on Saturday morning at the James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse as No. 10 Boston University won the Conlan Cup and Lusins Trophy in the three-way regatta between the Orange, Terriers and No. 12 Columbia.
In the V8 race, BU took control early and never relinquished its lead as it held of the Lions and Orange for the win. The Terriers covered the 2,000-meter course in 6:03.4 with Columbia second in 6:05.1 and SU third in 6:14.2.
