SU Women Out-Race Seeding at Clemson
The No. 18 Syracuse women's rowing team out-performed its seeding in two of three NCAA races on day one of the Clemson Invitational on Saturday.
The Department of Athletics Communications has posted more info on the ongoing Clemson Invite on cuse.com, including comments from women's head rowing coach Justin Moore.
"To out-race our seeding, finishing with open water on Dartmouth and overlapping decks with Radcliffe," Moore said "This was probably the best race we've had in the O'Leary Cup in quite some time. We had a real barn-burner of a grouping and felt really good about how the team raced."
