It was a huge honor for SARA to induct the SARA Co-Founder Dr. Bruce Chamberlain into the Syracuse Alumni Rowing Association Hall of Fame on Saturday (Nov. 6).Doctor Chamberlain's family and friends gathered for this ceremony at the boathouse on a chilly (and briefly snowy) Liverpool morning. SARA Board Member and Orange Oar Editor John Nicholson presided over the ceremony.
We are grateful for the beautiful reflections and anecdotes about Dr. Chamberlain provided by the venerable Bill Sanford. Longtime SARA Board Member and Dr. Chamberlain's friend Bob Donabella had the honor of presenting the Award.
A beautiful tribute to the one that started it all....
