And just so you get some video of all sides of the Syracuse Men's Crew Training program here is some tank video from this past week. If you remember the old days of the big orange boxes and deafening sound in the tank room we did some remodeling about 7 years ago...you should com back and take a look!

The purpose of this celebration is two-fold. First, Kris had a tremendous impact on an untold number of women. As both a coach and athlete, she worked tremendously hard to bring out the best in those who rowed with and for her. She earned three national championships as an athlete and took her team to the grand finals of the NCAA championships as a coach. All the women who rowed for her commented on her care for them and character. The Kris SanfordCelebration provides an opportunity for those who were impacted by her teaching to return to Syracuse and thank her in person.
Second, competing at the highest level national requires top-level equipment. With this celebration we would like to create the "Kris Sanford Equipment Fund" that will guarantee that there will always be an 8+ in the boathouse named "The Kris Sanford". We are asking those who are inclined to make an annual gift as a way of honoring Kris for her contributions to the sport, to Syracuse and to the women who rowed for her.
